Her birthplace was in Santa Monica, California on the 26th of November, 1986. She is the daughter her father Vincenzo Barba and mother Valerie Barba. The family relocated from Point Pleasant, New Jersey at the age of 6. Her education was completed at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. She then attended Catholic University, where she earned a bachelor's diploma in architecture. As a violinist from the age of 4"Violingirl" was her nickname. She was referred to by her name due to her appearances. She taught violin lessons for children from the neighborhood. At the age of nineteen she auditioned for the sixth season of American Idol and sang the 1976 hit single Free. Her audition was canceled when she was ranked 16th on American Idol. There were many songs she performed, such as 2009's "The Songs of Christmas" and 2010's Out for Blood. Additionally she has appeared on some programs on television, including Jimmy Kimmel Live!. In July of 2018 she pleaded guilty to possessing 400 grams or more of the drug and was planning to market it. However she was arrested in the process of delivering more than two pounds of the drug to a stash house located in Virginia in the month of October.
